Temple priest killed, hundy stolen

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 10: Miscreants killed a temple priest and decamped with the hundy at Chockalaingapuram near here early this morning.

Police said the staff at the Muneewaran temple found its doors damaged and open in the morning and Arivazhagan's (40) body lying in a pool of blood.

The amount in the stolen hundy was not immediately known.
