Red Ribbon Express awares people about AIDS

Pratapgarh, Jan 10 (UNI) Red Ribbon Express today reached this district to spread awareness about AIDS.

Red Ribbon Express train, especially made for spreading awareness about AIDS, is covering 24 states and 165 districts from December 1, 2007, to December 1, 2008.

District Magistrate Sainthiyal Pandiyan C said ''thousands of people have congregated here to have a look at this special train.'' There were various sessions in the forms of exhibitions, counselling and seminars to spread AIDS awareness.

There were three training sessions a day, where a trained team educated the locals with audiovisual devices.
