Power Development Corporation office gutted in Kargil

Kargil, Jan 10 (UNI) The office building of Power Development Corporation (PDC) was gutted, damaging records, at Baroo in this district last night, official sources said today.

They said fire broke out in a room in the two story building and immediately spread to other rooms.

However, before fire tenders could control the leaping flames, the building was reduced to ashes, damaging office and other records.

The cause of the fire was not known, they said adding no one was injured in the incident.
