Panchayat Secretary held for accepting bribe

Bangalore, Jan 10 (UNI) A village panchayat secretary was caught red handed by Lokayukta officials while accepting bribe at Halekote in Hassan district.

A release from the Lokayukta today said H P Basappa had demanded Rs 1,000 from one Paramesh for releasing loan installment of Rs 10,000.
