Overbooking on flights is normal practice: V Thulsidas
Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) Two days after 60 passengers were offloaded from Air India's (AI) Chicago-bound flight, AI Chief Managing Director V Thulsidas today said all the airlines faced the problem of overbooking in long-haul flights and there had been incidents of offloading earlier.
On tuesday, 60 passengers were offloaded from a Chicago- bound flight, while yesterday three were offloaded.
When asked about these incidents, Mr Thulsidas said, ''we feel bad about this but overbooking is the normal and accepted practice all over the world.'' UNI JM SSS SR ND2105'
