One killed, three injured due to electric shock in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 10 (UNI) One person was killed and three others injured after they got in contact with a live wire in the city today, official sources said.
They said a group of people were hoisting banners in the Karan Nagar area of the city about ''Muharram'', martyrdom of Prophet Mohammad's grand son Hazrat Imam Hussain.
As they were trying to hoist one such banner near a shopping plaza, four of them got in contact with a live wire.
All the four, identified as Qamar Ali Sofi, Azhar Ali, Muneer Ahmad and Basharat Ali, were critically injured.
They were rushed to nearby SMHS hospital where Qamar Ali died, sources said.
