MP Govt announces sops for government employees
Bhopal, Jan 10 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government today announced several sops for state government employees including ending gap between dearness allowance between the Centre and state.
State Finance Minister Raghavji and Water Resources Minister Anoop Mishra told a press conference that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had met representatives of various employees organisations of the state on January 7 who had put up their demands before Mr Chouhan.
A meeting was chaired by Mr Chouhan at Mantralaya here today in connection with various suggestions made by the employees organisations.
Mr Raghavji said the gap in dearness allowance between the Centre and the state government would be ended in two phases. A detailed announcement in this regard would be made in the budget speech.
He said an amendment has been made to make recruitment on sympathetic grounds simpler. An aspirant could directly send application to the Collector for the post of contract teacher or teacher.
A decision has been taken to not consider service break of daily wage employees from 2001 to 2004 for their regularisation. This would help in resolving several cases easily.
