UP: Life term for 3 in murder case

Tikamgarh(MP), Jan 10; A fast track court has sentenced life imprisonment to three and three years rigorous imprisonment to two others in a murder case.

FTC Special Judge Deepak Tripathi yesterday awarded life imprisonment to Daulat Kushwaha, Hira Kushwaha and Harlal Kushwaha and three year RI to Kalyan Singh and Lallu Ram.

They were charged with attacking Roop Singh Thakur, Devi Singh and others at Bhaisbari village under Badagaon-Dhasan police station of this district on March 15, 2005 with sharp-edged weapons. Roop Singh Thakur was killed in the attack, the prosecution said.
