Haryana Agri Deptt to monitor quality of agri inputs
Chandigarh, Jan 10 (UNI) Haryana Agriculture Department has launched a campaign to ensure the supply of quality inputs to the farmers of the state.
While stating this here today, Agriculture Department Director Sumita Mishra said that the enforcement staff of the department had been asked to monitor the quality of agriculture inputs, especially the weedicides. They had been directed to take adequate number of samples of various weedicides being sold in the state, she added.
She said the companies, whose products had caused the damage to wheat crop in the last Rabi season would be specifically targeted and samples would be drawn covering all the companies operating in the state.
