Flaxen Diaz turned brunette to attract men

Washington, Jan 10 : Cameron Diaz surely seems convinced that 'interesting and cooler' gentlemen prefer brunettes.

In 2006, the 'Charlie's Angels' star infamously traded her blonde tresses for a dark brown shade.

The change ended up attracting a different type of suitor.

"I just wanted to try something different and see what kind of guys hit on me when I was a brunette as opposed to blonde," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"The guys who liked the dark hair were the cooler, more sensitive, interesting guys," she said.
