Fire in sugarmill: Property worth lakhs gutted

Azamgarh, Jan 10 (UNI) Property worth Rs 50 lakh was reduced to rubble in a raging inferno at a closed cooperative sugarmill here today.

There, however, was no casualty.

The blaze could only be extinguished after fire tenders reached the spot.

Prima facie, short circuit was ascertained as a reason behind the flames, police said.

Investigations were underway.
