DIG (Prison) Sheshmani Tripathi sacked

Lucknow, Jan 10 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today sacked DIG (Prison) Sheshmani Tripathi for being hand-in-glove with criminals.

The DIG had been suspended on May 30, 2005 for his alleged nexus with the criminals.

Mr Tripathi was expelled after he was found guilty in a probe, Principal Secretary (home) J N Chamber informed here tonight.

DG (Prison) had investigated the case.
