Centre has failed to control price rise: Sinha
Dumka, Jan 10 (UNI) Former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha today accused the Centre of failing to control the price hike of essential commodities and said it seemed to be 'helpless' in this regard.
Addressing the Bhartiya Janta Yova Morcha (BJYM) activists here, Mr Sinha said it was 'meaningless' to expect development in the present UPA Government's regime as it failed on every front.
Mr Sinha said the party had launched a drive to highlight the ''misdeeds'' of the government under which the party activists had been asked to contact people throughout the state.
The first phase of the drive, which began from Basukinath, would cover Dumka and Jamtara areas, the BJP leader added.
The gathering was also addressed by state BJP chief P N Singh and senior party leader Saryu Rai.
