Bank Manager and clerk held for bribe
Patna, Jan 10: The State Vigilance Bureau today arrested a Bank Manager and a clerk of Sahokhar branch of Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank in Nalanda district while accepting a bribe of Rs 4000.
ADG of the Bureau Neelmani here said Meghvaran Yadav, a native of Rahui police station area in the district, had complained that Bank Manager Subhash Chandra Sinha and clerk Kamlesh Kumar were demanding a bribe to clear the loan.
The bureau laid a trap and arrested Mr Sinha and Mr Kumar.
Both of them would be produced before the vigilance court here tomorrow.
