Amy Winehouse admits she's a 'terrible drunk'

London, Jan 10 : Rehab Star Amy Winehouse has admitted in a magazine that when it comes to alcohol consumption, she's "a terrible drunk".

The 24-year-old singer disclosed her drinking habits saying that she's lovely to be around when she gets drunk in the gym.

"Drinking long-term is a lot worse than doing heroin. Alcohol's a real poison. I'm not a nice drunk. If I go to the gym and I have a drink, I'm lovely to be around. But if I haven't been training or if there's something bothering me, I'm a terrible drunk," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

When asked whether her drinking gets her into a problem, she narrated a recent restaurant trip with a friend.

"I went to a restaurant recently and my friend was like, 'Do you remember the last time we were here? The head waiter carried you but you were trying to punch and kick us'. When we left, I wrote on the bill, 'Sorry for the drama have a massive tip'," she said.

However, in an interview with the US edition of OK! magazine, she denied any affect to her work due to her drinking problem. But later she confessed that there have been days when she came to work all drunk.

"There are certain instances where I'll be out and I'll be drunk, and I'll come to work and I'll be shattered. Then there are other days where I'm like, 'Listen, if you want to have a nice day, please get me some alcohol'."

Meanwhile, she has revealed a new blonde hair-do after returning from a stay at rocker Bryan Adams' villa on Mustique in the Caribbean.

"She wanted a new look for the New Year," said a spokesman for the star.
