Water level drops in Kerala dams
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 9 (UNI) The water level in major reservoirs in Kerala has decreased in the post-monsoon season.
However, the level was better than the previous year, the Central Water Commission said in a release here today.
The water level at Idukki reservoir decreased to 2381.84 ft, at Idamalayar to 517.72 and at Kallada to 374.02 ft, Compared to the water level recorded during the same period last year, Kallada and Idukki reservoirs showed an increase of 5.38 ft.
and 3.32 ft, respectively. However in Idamalayar, the water level decreased by 11.74 ft.
