Two youths killed in road accident

Aizawl, Jan 9 (UNI) Two youths were killed on the spot when their motorcycle collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction at Zodin Square here last night, police said here today.

The truck-driver, from Assam's Karimganj district and the cleaner, from Tuikual in Mizoram, surrendered before the Aizawl police immediately after the accident.

The truck-driver claimed that the bike was coming from the opposite direction at high speed and the biker lost control over his vehicle.

Meanwhile, an investigation was on to ascertain the exact cause of the accident, police added.
