Mah: Robbers fire in air, escape from scene

Mumbai, Jan 9: An alert jogger today foiled an attempt of house breaking at Kanamvar Nagar, Vikroli in the eastern suburb, here.

Robbers fired two rounds of bullets in the air and fled from the spot.

According to the police, three armed robbers attempted to break into a house at Vikroli at around 0730 hrs. But a jogger suspecting their movement raised an alarm. As people gathered to nab the culprits, one of them fired couple of rounds in the air and made good their escape in an autorickshaw.
