Respite from cold wave, forecast rain

Jaipur, Jan 9 (UNI) Rajasthan is witnessing a considerable abatement in the cold wave condtions from the last few days due to the western disturbances.

The minimum temperature has reached normal, while some places in western and northern parts of the state experienced drizzles.

According to the weathermen, rain or thunder showers have been forecast in some areas of western Rajasthan, while dry weather was forecast in other parts of the State.

Drizzle was reported from some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaneer division yesterday.

The minimum temperatures recorded at important places were: Mount Abu 7, Udaipur 10, Chittorgarh 10.8, Pilani 12.1, Jaisalmer 12.2, Sawai Madhopur 12.5, Ganganagar 12.7, Churu 13.4, Bharatpur 13.5, Jaipur and Barmer 14.7 and Ajmer 15 degrees Ceslius.
