Pondy BJP President receives threat call

Puducherry, Jan 9 (UNI) Puducherry BJP President M Visweswaran received a threatening call on his mobile, stating that he would be killed, here last night.

In a complaint lodged at Odean Saalai police station, the BJP leader said he had received the call while attending a Hindu Munnani meeting here threatening that he would be killed and cut to pieces.

Police registered a case and noted the unknown number from his cell phone for further investigation.
