Naib Tehsildar forges revenue records

Moga, Jan 9 (UNI) Baghapurana Police of the district today registered a criminal case against a Naib Tehsildar alleging forgery of revenue records.

According to the police the case was registered on the complaint filed by Moga Deputy Commissioner on December 17, 2007 alleging that Bachittar Singh Dhadha while he was posted at Baghapurana and placed under suspension in the month of June 2007, tempered and forged the revenue record and on the basis of the forged document he sanctioned a mutation. Bachittar Singh Dhadha is now posted at Jalalabad in Ferozepur district.

The police has registered a case under sections 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC. However no arrest has been made so far.
