Manipur Budget session from Feb 20

Imphal, Jan 9 (UNI) The Manipur Cabinet has recommended convening of the full budget session of the Legislative Assembly from February 20 to March 16.

Official sources said here today that the Cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, met yesterday and decided to convene the budget session from February 20.

The Cabinet also approved extension of service tenure of 457 part-time lecturers working in government colleges till June 30 and payment of Rs 8,000 as their basic monthly pay in accordance with UGC norms.
