Kerala's plan outlay finalised at Rs 7,700
New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) Kerala will have a plan outlay of Rs 7,700 crore for 2008-09, an increase of 10.8 per cent over the last year.
The outlay was finalised at a meeting between Minister V S Achuthanandan and Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia.
There is an increase of about 100 per cent in the outlay for industries with a sum of Rs 220 crore earmarked this time as compared to 107 crore last year.
Local self government has been given an increased outlay of Rs 1877 crore from Rs 1790 crore. A sum of Rs 50 crore has been provided for the Debt Relief Commission.
