Hooda to be honoured for welfare schemes for journalists
Chandigarh, Jan 9 (UNI) The Haryana Patrakar Sangh and Chandigarh Press Club will honour Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at a function to be held on January 13 for initiating various welfare steps for the journalists fraternity of Haryana.
Stating this here yesterday jointly the President Haryana Patarkar Sangh, Mr K B Pandit and the President of Chandigarh Press Club, Mr Balwant Takshak said this function would be presided by Karnal MP, Dr Arvind Sharma. Indian Journalist Union president Suresh Akhori would be the Chief Guest.
Mr Takshak said Haryana state head of Dainik Bhaskar, Mr Uttam Sen Gupt, Editor of Danik Tribune, Mr Naresh Kaushal, Editor of Amar Ujala, Mr Uday Sinha would speak on this occasion.
He said Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr Sunderpal Singh and Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Director Public Relations and Cultural Affairs K K khandelwal would also be honoured. He said it was expected that around 500 journalists from all over Haryana would participate in this function.
