First Great Indian Travel Bazaar 2008 in Jaipur on April 21-23

Jaipur, Jan 9 (UNI) The Great Indian Travel Bazaar, the first ever international tourism mart, will be held in the Pink City from April 21-23.

The mega mart will be organised jointly by the Union Ministry of Tourism, Department of Tourism, Rajasthan government along with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI).

Leading national and regional associations like Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR) and Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) are supporting the event.

The chairman of the FICCI council in Rajasthan, Maharaj Jai Singh said a road show is being organised at the Rajputana Palace in Jaipur to market the ''Great Indian Travel Bazaar 2008''.

He said the objective of this international event is to reinforce India as a ''world class tourist destination''. He said similar road shows have been held in Mumbai, Jodhpur and Udaipur earlier.
