Conspiracy to implicate people as ISI agents foiled

Hyderabad, Jan 9 (UNI) The sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force today unearthed a conspiracy to implicate people as members of ISI module through fabricated letters and planting suspicious materials in their bags, with the arrest of a person here.

Police said Mohd Fareed (28) was arrested while he was moving about in a suspicious manner with a bag at MGBS.

A quartz clock, a mobile and Telugu pamphlets with sketches of city routes were recovered from him.

The bag also contained a list of articles (meant for manufacture of IEDs) and a voter ID card copy of one Rafi.

On interrogation, it was ascertained that Fareed had conspired to implicate his uncle Mohd Fareeduddin and his son Rafi as members of the ISI and accused in the recent bomb blasts at Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat at Koti on August 25.

Police said personal rivalry was behind this motive.

A search was on to nab Fareed's accomplices--Yadi Reddy and Mohd Gouse, police added.
