Congress demands high level probe in builder murder case

Patna, Jan 9 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) today demanded a high level probe into the involvement of an MLA of ruling JD(U) in the murder of a city builder yesterday.

State unit president Sadanand Singh said that the pace of crime had increased manifold in the present regime and the murder of Sanjay Singh, a city builder, is an indication of the growing menace.

He further alleged that the way miscreants shot him dead in broad daylight and managed to escape reflected the 'true' picture of the administration. The claim of good governance by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is a mere propaganda, he added.

Mr Singh said the family members of the builder had lodged an FIR against a JD(U) MLA as the main accused.
