BSNL launches Hindi web site

Bangalore, Jan 9: Bharat Sanchar Nigam today launched its Hindi web site for administrative purpose for Karnataka region.

Deputy Director (Implementation) Union Home Affairs Ministry Vishwanath Jha inaugurated the web site as part of implementation of Hindi as a national language in the administration. The Hindi web site would be updated along with the English web site for all service purpose, he said. Principal Genaral Manager of Bangalore Telecom Distict Subendra Ghose said that the new web site would help in providing bilingual documents to the people.

A web site in Kannada would also be available next month, he said.
