Aptech conferred REP status by PMI

Chennai, Jan 9 (UNI) Aptech Ltd, the leading global learning solutions provider, has been conferred the Global Registered Education Provider (REP) status by Project Management Institute (PMI).

Aptech would now be offering PMI recognized project management training and professional service to Project Management Professionals (PMP) across the globe. Aptech had planned to train 5,000 PMPs during 2008, according to a company release here today.

The PMI-REP programme, recognized as the premier comprehensive continuing education programme, was related to the field of project management. Organisations worldwide wanted to train their Project Managers to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

Aptech would be offering the courses in two modes - Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Distance Learning Mode (DLM).

The course would span over a period of five days, which would be followed by an internal assessment.

On successful completion, the participant would be granted 35 PDUs required by PMI for the PMP certification, the release added.
