ADGP figures in FIR on corruption in Supplyco
Kochi, Jan 9 (UNI) Additional Director-General of Police S Pulikesi figured in two of the five FIRs filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) before the CBI Special Court here today in connection with corruption amounting to Rs 134 crore in Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco) during 1998-2006.
Filing of the FIRs followed CBI raids in office premises and residences of traders and contractors in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka who supplied commodities to Supplyco during the period while Mr Pulikesi was its Managing Director.
The premier investigating agency took up the case following a Kerala High Court directive.
