Scotland Yard continues probe, PPP demands UN inquiry

Rawalpindi/Karachi 7, Jan, 2008 : A team of Scotland Yard investigators on Monday, January 7th, visited a hospital in Rawalpindi to talk to witnesses injured in the attack that killed Pakistan's opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.

They also examined an unclaimed body recovered from the site that authorities suspect may be that of one of the assassins. The government has blamed Al Qaeda and said that Bhutto was killed when the suicide-bomb blast threw her head against the sunroof lever of her car.
