JVM to hold rally on Feb six to "expose" Koda govt
Ranchi, Jan 8 (UNI) Former Chief Minister and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) president Babulal Marandi today said the party would hold a raly on February six to "expose" the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government in the state.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Marandi said the rally was also being organised to "unmask the dual face" of the Congress, which was "playing with people's sentiment" here.
Accusing the Congress of being more responsible for the "dismal" condition of the state, Mr Marandi said due to "dual standard" of the party, people were facing acute shortage of basic amenities and corruption prevailed in each and every gocvernment department.
Reiterating its earlier demand, Mr Marandi said the state government should be dismissed on such grounds.
Speaking about the recent appointment of Mr V M Verma as Chairman of the Jharkhand State Electricity Board, he said there were corruption charges against him in Hiamachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The JVM leader said the raly would also be attended by Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav and Mr Chandrababu Naidu, former CMs of Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh respectively.
