Joint Collector meets ACP, Temple Chairman

Vijayawada, Jan 8 (UNI) Krishna District Joint Collector S Suresh Kumar, conducting a departmental inquiry into stampede at Kanakadurga temple on January three, today met Assistant Commissioner of Police L Vijayakumar and Temple Trust Board Chairman P Narayana Reddy to record their statements.

Mr Kumar, who began his inquiry on Janaury four, also recorded the statements of police, temple staff and injured persons.

He had submitted a preliminary report to the district collector.
