Jobs to school teachers's children mandatory
Ranchi, Jan 8 (UNI) The Jharkhand government today made it mandatory to provide jobs to the children of school teachers on compensatory grounds.
The decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting.
According to the decision, the appointment would be done as untrained salaried person.
For general candidates, at least 45 per cent marks were required in Intermediate examinations, whereas for the SC/ST the limit was 40 per cent.
In another matter, the government had decided to sanction about 1815 posts to deploy extra manpower inside the jails in the state.
These posts included jail inspector and doctor.
The government had also decided to establish Y F Research Foundation in the state to promote fishery and dairy production.
Official sources said about Rs 15.2 crore would be allocated for the task.
