Srinagar, Jan 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir remained peaceful as there was no report of any militancy related incident during the past 24 hours, an official spokesman said.

He said it was yet another peaceful day.

However, he said, a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant surrendered alongwith arms and ammunition, including one Self Loading Rifle (SLR), three magazines and 50 rounds of ammunition at Doda.
