Gerdau to set up greenfield unit at Tadipatri in AP
Hyderabad, Jan 8 (UNI) Brazilian steel major Gerdau will set up a greenfield unit at Tadipatri in Anantapur District, where the company already had a production unit.
An official release today said a company delegation led by Gerdau Director President B Gerdau Johannpeter met Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to discuss the expansion plans.
The company, with a present capacity of 0.27 million tonnes, would set up the unit to increase the production to one million tonnes. The Chief Minister had assured all incentives and concessions to the company, the release added.
