EC to review poll preparedness in Karnataka from tomorrow

New Delhi, Jan 8 : Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalswami and two Election Commissioners Navin Chawla and S Y Quraishi will visit Karnataka tomorrow to review the poll preparedness for the State Assembly elections that are likely to be held soon.

They will review preparation of the electoral rolls and general law and order situation, according to Election Commission sources.

The Election Commission is likely to hold consultations with political parties and senior officials in the state.

President's Rule was imposed in Karnataka in November last year.
