Constable succumbs to injuries in hospital

Mysore, Jan 8 (UNI) An armed reserve constable, who set himself ablaze yesterday after shooting his wife to death, died here today.

Police said the constable Lokesh, who had suffered 60 per cent burns in the incident, died in a private hospital.

He had shot his wife with a stengun following a family dispute and set himself on fire.

His mother, who also suffered minor injuries while trying to save her son, was undergoing treatment, police added.
