Car sales northbound, bices under pressure

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) Total car sales for the month of December 2007 increased to 88220 as compared 81033 in the corresponding month last year The total commercial vehicles sales also saw a jump to 42508 as compared to 41907 during the same period.

Motorcycle sales continued to be under pressure as it slumped to 435,924 units in December 2007 as compared 492,288 in December 2006.

Scooter sales increased to 77494 in December 2007 as compared to 7563 in December 2006.
