Sub-inspector among 2 killed 6 injured in road accident

Ballia, Jan 7 (UNI) At least two people, including a sub-inspector, were killed and six others, including two policemen, injured in separate road accidents in Fefna area here, police said today.

According to police, the accidents occurred late last nights, when a speeding car hit four people leaving them grievously injured.

Police, who had reached the spot after getting to know about the accident, was hit by a mini-truck.

Sub-inspector Ramashankar Dwivedi and an unidentified woman were killed on the spot.

The injured had been admitted to hospital.
