S'pore Minister to attend Pravasi Bharatiya Divas

Singapore, Jan 7: Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Balaji Sadasivan will attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in New Delhi today.

Dr Balaji will be the Guest of Honor at one of the sessions on 'Knowledge Economy' at the two-day annual event organised by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, said a Singapore government statement. Dr Balaji, who left for New Delhi yesterday, will also be meeting his Indian External Affairs counterpart, Minister of State, E Ahamed, the Indian Minister of Parliamentary Affairs&Information and Broadcasting, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, as well as members of the Indian arts community.
