Rains or snow likely in J

Pune, Jan 7 (UNI) Rains or snow are likely to occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at few places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Haryana and Punjab and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Rains or snow have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttarakhand. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of south west Jharkhand, Rayalseema and Kerala and were below normal in west Bihar, south Konkan, Goa, south interior Karnataka and in parts of east Uttar Pradesh, south Madhya and north Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya, Sikkim, south Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north Chattisgarh and in parts of Marathwada, and were above normal in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, north Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and parts of north Orissa, south Tamil Nadu.

They were normal over rest of the country apart from Arunachal Pradesh from where the data was sparse.
