Police arrest notorious gangsters with firearms

Samastipur, Jan 7 (UNI) The local police today arrested two notorious gangsters from Azad Chowk under Town police station area in the district.

Police here said, acting on a tip-off, a team of local police raided a criminal hideout near Azad Chowk and arrested Md. Wakil and Anil Singh of an inter-district gang.

The police also recovered three revolvers and several rounds of live cartridges from the spot.

The arrested gangsters were being interrogated, sources added.
