UNPA leaders to meet CACP officials

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (UNI) The United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA) leaders will meet the officials of Commission for Agriculture Costs and Prices (CACP) at New Delhi tomorrow to demand a hike in Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy and other crops.

UNPA Convenor and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu, addressing the press here today said the UNPA leaders would also submit a memorandum to the CACP officials, seeking implementation of M S Swaminathan Committee recommendations.

He said the UNPA would raise the issue in the coming Parliament session and would stall the proceedings till the Centre conceded their demands.
