Two-seater aircraft forced to land near Ashta
Sehore, MP, Jan 6 (UNI) A two-seater aircraft ran out of fuel and was forced to land near Ashta in Sehore to avert an accident.
However, the pilot was safe and the aircraft suffered minor damages.
''Trainee pilot Sarthak Gaur took off at 1330 hours from flying club in Ujjain but lost his way and reached Ashta. The aircraft ran out of fuel and air-traffic control in Bhopal directed him for emergency landing,'' Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Manu Vyas said.
The aircraft landed at a field in Arolia village near Ashta around 1530 hours. He came out of the aircraft safely with the help of villagers. The wheel of the aircraft was damaged.
The aircraft was in the village and arrangements for its security had been made. The pilot left for Ujjain.
