Scotland Yard team to find itself helpless: Fazlur

Peshawar, Jan 6 : JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that in present circumstances the Scotland Yard team will find itself helpless to conduct the probe into Benazir Bhutto's assassination on December 27, 2008.

Referring to Benazir's assassination, he criticised the Musharraf regime for naming Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud as a possible suspect.

Fazlur added that neither the PPP nor Baitullah Mahsud had yet accepted the government's version of the truth.

Talking to reporters at election office in Dera Ismail Khan, Fazlur accused the government of creating a wheat and power crisis in the country just to divert people's attention from the real issues, The News reported.
