New scholarship scheme for MP BPL girls
Bhopal, Jan 6 (UNI) In a bid to provide opportunities of higher education to the intelligent girls of Below Poverty Line families in urban areas, Madhya Pradesh government has started 'Pratibha Kiran Yojana', a release said.
In this regard, directions and rules have been issued and in order to get the benefit from this scheme this year, the application forms would be invited till October 31. Under this scheme, the higher education would be provided to the girls from the families who secured minimum first division in higher secondary class from urban-based government schools.
They would recieve a scholarship of Rs 300 in the first 10 months of academic session in traditional courses while Rs 750 scholarship would be provided to technical and medical courses.
