Fake notes worth Rs 1.5 lakh seized, one held

Rae Bareli, Jan 6 (UNI) Police today arrested a person, involved in the business of printing fake currency and seized fake notes worth Rs 1.5 lakh, from his possession in Gurubakshganj area here.

Special Operation Group of Police (SOG) and local police conducted a raid at a book depot and held the accused.

The arrested was caught red handed printing Rs 100 denomination notes, police informed.

Besides, a computer, printer and other equipments were also seized from the spot.

Investigations are still on.
