Amritsar-Dibrugarh train derailed

Ballia, Jan 6: Amritsar-Dibrugarh train derailed near Sadwar railway station here, affecting the rail traffic for several hours.

The incident occured late last night between Basdih and Sadwar railway station, when a coach of the train derailed blocking the Ballia-Chapara rail route.

However, no loss of life had been reported.

Routes of Rajdhani, Senani and Pawan express were diverted to Mau Meanwhile, repair work which was initiated at the Ballia-Chapara rail route, was restored early today.
