Three arrested in Andaman for black marketing ship tickets
Port Blair, Jan 05 (UNI) The Andaman and Nicobar police today arrested three persons for black marketing tickets of Havelock Islands, a tourist hotspot in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Police said a Central Crime Station (CCS) team raided the Marine Dockyard of South Andaman and arrested a Tally clerk red handed while accepting Rs 4,000 for nearly 15 tickets of Havelock Island.
Recently, a few tourists had also complained about large scale black marketing of ship tickets in the islands.
A case of cheating and blackmarketing of ship tickets had been registered at the CCS at Port Blair, and the Andaman and Nicobar Police was carrying out further investigation in this regard.
